Services

This list is by no means comprehensive of all the services that I can provide, but will give you some examples of the types of services I can help you with. If there's something that's not on the list, don't hesitate to reach out and let's discuss the details of exactly what you're looking for. I pride myself on making tech easy -- you share your vision in everyday terms and I'll handle all the technical aspects. That's exactly what I'm here for, to make your life easier.

Design

  • Seamlessly transition existing content from your old site to a new or redesigned site
  • Create a seamless and responsive site - meaning one that will modify its configuration to optimize it for desktop/tablet/smart device.
  • Design your vision - I often work from very basic sketches of the vision for the website layout and functionality
  • Assist you in selecting or creating graphic elements, including logo creation
  • Advanced Application development - this is largely on a case-by-case basis and will be customized to match your individual needs. An example of a past Advanced Application Development job:
I built a tool for the client to create and manage mass email lists, based on multiple customizable criteria, like when was the user last contacted, what did they express interest in, what rating factors did they enter when they completed the form that added them to the database. It then would send that list of recipients and the email template to a mass mail vendor automatically.--That's a niche example, but if you can dream it, I can build it for you. Let's discuss your vision and make it a reality

Small Business

  • Help you to purchase your website domain name and set up all the initial configurations
  • Establish custom branded email accounts (so for my wife's site Spoonful of Easy, her email address is carissa@spoonfulofeasy.com)
  • Set up secure hosting, either with me or with a quality company. In layman's terms, hosting is the location of the actual files that make up your website. For example, spoonfulofeasy.com is the business, but you need a physical place to host the files and to which that business name points. I can host content for certain sites, but for example, if you want a Wordpress site, I have a short list of companies that specialize in Wordpress hosting.
  • Mass email setup-- integration with Constant Contact or Mail Chimp
  • Setting up sign-up forms for email lists and creating multiple pop-ups or email capture areas
  • Seamlessly transition existing content from your old site to a new or redesigned site
  • Build a responsive site - a site that will modify its configuration to optimize it for desktop/tablet/smart device. This is a must for today's consumers.
  • Assist you in selecting or creating graphic elements, including logo creation
  • Integrate vendor services with your site, i.e. scheduling software, online stores, inventory management, etc. I can set these up and work with their customer service to get any of your questions or needs taken care of
  • Advanced programming to enable your site to handle form submissions, registrations, inquiries
  • E-commerce, including all facets of setting up an online store front to enable you to sell your merchandise directly from your site
  • Easy training to assist you in self-managing and updating your content
  • Ongoing maintenance if you'd prefer to not update your own content
  • Linking your social media accounts to your site

Blogging Support

  • Help you to purchase your website domain name and set up all the initial configurations
  • Initial site set up, install a basic set of plugins
  • If you find that the current theme templates don't meet your needs, I can build custom themes or plug-ins to match your vision
  • Establish custom branded email accounts (so for my wife's site Spoonful of Easy, her email address is carissa@spoonfulofeasy.com)
